Hours: Tuesday – Thursday / Friday – Sunday; 9:00pm – 5:00am, 1:00am-6:00am

This is not your box mix, frozen and then thaw, pre-made bakery. This is “you actually have to have talent” and “know what you’re doing” bakery looking to add another passionate baker to the team. Here, you will be creating, crave-worthy baked goods like cookies, brownies, babka, rugelach, seasonal treats, and challah products. Our guests line-up often before opening to purchase our coveted baked goods.

Food is undoubtedly love. We hear customer stories about how our food “takes them back.” A single bite can trigger a memory that was lost before it was found again at Pearl’s Bagels & Bakery. We believe that food is love and that is why we make everything from scratch daily. We do not sell next-day items, we don’t even have a freezer (or a microwave). We are proud of what we have created and what we have become known for: exceptional, quality baked goods.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  •  May assist lead bagel roller with rolling bagels at start of shift
  • Making and baking cookies, brownies, rugelach, Challah products, ​muffins, babka, and other products from scratch
  • ​Inventory Management of all ingredients to make items ​
  • Must restock inventory on an as-used basis (flour, sugar, salt, etc.) and after use
  • ​Storage Management of all dry and cold goods, must keep workstation(s), and equipment used in the process while making items
  • Sanitation Management for all items, workspace, and space used
If this sounds like you…
  • Motivated, self-starter, who can work efficiently and effectively on their own
  • Have years of Professional Baking and pastry experience 
  • Love baking and really are really talented 
  • Creative and eager to help grow the Pearl’s Bagels & Bakery brand reach 
  • Able to lift 50lbs or more
  • Able to follow explicit instruction to maintain product consistency, receptive to feedback
  • Have great time management skills 
  • Able to work overnights/early morning hours, weekends, & some Holidays
    Catering Orders for Bread and Pastry
  • Extremely sanitary individual who wears a mask and gloves and follows OSHA Health Codes and CDC Guidelines at all times
  • Must work well with others, positive attitude, and flexible
Equipment Management:
  • You must maintain, clean, and sanitize all equipment and items used after used during your shift
