Floater 

Location: Albany, NY
Part-time hours: 5:30am-3:00pm / Wednesday – Friday or Saturday-Sunday
Pay: $16-$17/hr + tips
Restauarnt experience required, Bakery experience preferred. Will train the right candidate.

This is a catch-all, floater position. Restaurant/ Hospitality experience is required. You will be cross-trained on nearly all stations, but primarily front-of-house / barista / customer relations, cold sandwich station, cream cheese making, light baking potental, inventory and restaurant maintenance. We are looking for a star to join our team; someone who has a exceptional work ethic, great initiative, a sense of humor, has a positive attitude, easily adaptable, has incredible attention to detail, enjoys a fast-paced environment and making community connections. We are looking for someone who has outstanding customer service skills. Beyond cashing someone out or making a coffee, we are looking for someone who engages with guests and remembers first names.

Employees who work during service hours will also receive tips (an average of +$300 per week will be added into your bi-weekly paycheck, cash tips are divided between service staff daily).

Hours: Hours are subject to change based on the individual skillset and drive of employee. If you are a rockstar, you will be rewarded.

  • Wednesday 5:30-2:30pm 
  • Thursday 5:30-2:30pm

  • Saturday 5:30-2:30pm

Requirements:

  • Must be 17+ years old
  • Must have a car or reliable transportation
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs or more
  • Must be able to work in an environment that handles nuts and gluten
  • Must be vaccinated against COVID-19
  • Must have references
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

FOH:

  • Greeting and conversing with guests. Excellent customer relations is a must.
  • Preparing all coffee / tea drinks
  • Creating in-house syrups
  • Assembling product packaging (bags and boxes)
  • Organization, inventory management of front of house
  • Maintaining, cleaning, and sanitizing all equipment and space during and after use
  • Working the register, familiarity with TOAST is preferred

BOH

  • Work cold sandwich station
  • Cream cheese production 
  • Cold sandwich station prep 
  • Light Baking 
  • Facilities Management 

 

  • Able to lift 50lbs or more
  • Able to follow direction, receptive to feedback
  • Must be an extremely sanitary individual who follows OSHA Health Codes and CDC Guidelines at all times
  • Must work well with others, have a positive attitude, and be flexible!
